About Us - DB, which stands for Dash Board, originated in Dash Point, Washington. Founded in 2003 by Richard Docter, Bryce Hermansen, and Tim Mackey, DB started off crafting foam top longboards and flatland skimboards in a garage before moving to a 2000 sq ft barn. The trio worked tirelessly through college and upon graduation, pursued their passion for board crafting full time. Inspired by the beaches, concrete, and snow of the Northwest, they strive to chase adventures and create the best boards possible. The Rumba model is designed with versatile features optimized for dancing, while also being well-suited for cruising and light freeride. Its kick tails seamlessly blend into subtle microdrops, leading to a rockered platform that provides stability. The grip is specifically designed for dancing, offering traction where it's needed the most.
